Tomorrow

As I lay in the silence watching you sleep. I pray I am strong enough for tomorrow. We share a love that few well ever find. Yet, it is a forbidden love to all but us. Life can never be fair it seems. No matter how hard one tries life fails them. You hear of all the happy ever after tales. I just dont believe them anymore. Here in the darkness I can let my tears fall. Knowing that when the sunrises we part. My heart feels as if someone is smothering it. Oh and the pain is so unbelievable. This lost hopeless feeling threatens me. Still I had great happiness for a brief moment. I will forever cherish this part of my life. You have shown me true love does exist. With you I shall cast my soul too the heavens. There we shall always be together dancing. I see the sun as it peeks over the dark horizon. Dear lord I pray give me strength today. You will never see my tears this I have vowed. For us it will remain star shine and roses. I will tenderly kiss your lips and set you free. Knowing that we shared a dream in paradise. Wiping my eyes, I lay my head upon your chest. Your tender arm surrounds me once again. I here you sigh from deep within and know. You are feeling the same as I am tonight. Sleep evades us both yet we do not talk. When the sun burst forth, we will part. Saying goodbye, one last time.
